First Annual John Clyde Memorial Spring Cleanup, Franklin Twp
Help Remember our friend and fellow UOC member by participating in
this new community event.
Saturday, April 20 - 9:30
Duke Farms, Hillsborough
We will walk some of the 18 miles of trails wondering through woodlands
and meadows. Also visit the orchid greenhouse. Lunch on site

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, Princeton
Arrange on your own. Not a UOC group outing
Spectacular action-packed films featuring explorations of the natural world.

Skyland Manor, Ringwood
Designed in the mid 1920's by American architect John Russel Pope.
View the mansion and gardens. Late lunch/early supper nearby.
Saturday, May 4
Jockey Hollow, Great Swamp and Raptor Trust, Morristown
Tour where the Continental Army camped in 1779/80. Enloy a walk in the swamp
 and then see owls, eagles and other birds. Picnic lunch.

Thursday, May 9
Morning walk and birding at Mercer Meadows, Lawrenceville
A 2 hour weekday walk in an area considered a bird sanctuary
Bring a picnic lunch.

Sandy Hook
Bike, Beach, Birding or Hike. Your choice. We will form groups for each
activity. Also visit History House. Late Lunch nearby.

Keyport Garden Walk, Keyport
Stroll through Keyport and view the private and public gardens of this
charming town. Visitors come from world wide to view these. Late Lunch locally.

Colonial Park cleanup, Franklin
Our spring community service project. A great opportunity to give back in
appreciation to be able to use the park. More info to follow.
Saturday, June 8 - Noon Laurita Winery, New Egypt
Formerly a dairy farm, was first planted in 1998 and opened in 2008.
Tour the winery, taste some wine and have lunch on site
Saturday, June 15
Middlesex Greenway, Edison to Woodbridge
A late spring stroll along a section we have not done. An easy 3 miles on
a flat paved surface. Lunch midway.
Saturday, June 22 Davidson Mill Pond Park Walk, Sough Brunswick
A scenic, comfortable, level 2 mile walk through former farm fields. See
a butterfly house and Master Gardener gardens. Benches to eat lunch.
